Just back from the local hospital . I thought i was having my third collapse which i was estimating to be a small one around 10 to 25 % . The doctor who saw me thought he heard restricted air flow however nothing on the x -ray so he now thinks that its just muscle strain between ribs at the top of my chest. This diagnosis is similar to one i had three months before i had my last 70% collapse i just hope i hold out longer as im getting married this year. i think today is going to be plenty of pain killers and not much else. Look out for some of the pain killers. They slow down breathing so don't over do it.
You might get congestion from the lowered respiratory breathing. That will not help you feel better much.
Pain Meds that don't interfere with respiratory are the best. You still feel the pain a bit..but don't care. |

| i using up some co-dydramol however when they are gone im not sure i will be able to get more without a pescription. Today the pain is as bad no change, so a couple of pills then off to work . Where i work you only get five paid days sick and so far this year i have used two so i will have to carry on till either the lung goes pop or till the pain eases up or gets to a point where i can't work. |
